ROCO congratulates ÖBB

With the opening of the Koralm Railway today, Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) celebrate a major milestone in the European rail network. Spanning approximately 130 kilometres, the new line—served among others by modern Railjet trains—connects two key Austrian provinces faster than ever before. At the heart of this landmark project lies one of the longest railway tunnels in the world: the Koralm Tunnel.

ROCO is producing the electric locomotive 1116 233-8 in a unique design in a one-off edition as a model (item no.: 7500036, 7510036, 7520036)! Under the motto "Winter in Salzburger Land", the attractive Taurus locomotive is being brought to the small track true to the original, thus bringing Salzburger Land and skiing to the whole world in 1:87 scale.
