With the opening of the Koralm Railway today, Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) celebrate a major milestone in the European rail network. Spanning approximately 130 kilometres, the new line—served among others by modern Railjet trains—connects two key Austrian provinces faster than ever before. At the heart of this landmark project lies one of the longest railway tunnels in the world: the Koralm Tunnel.

The construction of ROCO's product novelty, the electric locomotive E 469.1 of the Czechoslovak State Railways, is already well advanced. This completely new model from ROCO is correctly produced in scale 1:87 (Art. No.: 7500082, 7510082, 7520082).

Under the motto "Winter in Salzburger Land", the attractive Taurus locomotive is being brought to the small track true to the original, thus bringing Salzburger Land and skiing to the whole world in 1:87 scale.
