Striking eccentrics: The series 194

Like no other locomotive, the series 194 embodies variety and striking details. The demanding service in goods transport over several decades led to several conversions - from elongated roofs to repositioned headlights and special cowls with integrated lamps.

One of these extraordinary machines, the 194 080-8, is now reproduced by ROCO (Art. No.: 7500212, 7510212, 7520212): true to the original, it is not equipped for automatic coupling, but it features the characteristic lamps, that are integrated into the cowl. Further highlights are the red lightning symbols in the side windows of the driver's cab doors, that were only featured on a few prototypes, as well as the back wall of the driver's cab, which enthuses when seen through the windows, because it is executed in multiple colours for the first time. Etched parts indicating the running number and the rail depot are included.
