Diesel railcar VT 121, STB

Diesel railcar VT 121 of the Süd-Thüringen-Bahn.

■ Version with central buffer coupling
■ Ideal for branch line railways
■ Elaborately designed interior

In the year 2001, the first Süd-Thüringen-Bahn railcars rolled onto the rails in South Thuringia. For operation on its railway lines, it has 37 vehicles of the type RS 1/Regio Shuttle by the company Stadler. This diesel railcar with approx. 70 seats offers, among other things, disabled-accessible spaces for wheelchairs, pushchairs, bicycles etc. and is therefore tailor-made for use on branch lines.
