Rich detailing on the model with many separately applied plug-in parts that are partially etched. Motor with flywheel, true to the original LED headlights that change with the direction of travel, drive on four axles, two of them has traction tyres to increase traction power. AC model with digitally switchable sound and light functions and buffer capacitor.

When inspected and overhauled in 1971, the electric locomotives of the 1200 series were painted with a new yellow/grey colour. The original model of this version operated for the Dutch State Railways.
