Vorbild ist die Elektrolokomotive 189 801-4 der Westfälischen Landes-Eisenbahn GmbH. Sie ist vorerst die einzige elektrische Streckenlokomotive der WLE, ihr Einsatz ist überwiegend zwischen Lippstadt und München vor Containerzügen. Die E-Lok sieht man auch mit den Container-Ganzzügen der Warsteiner Bier-Brauerei.
