Electric locomotive 1216 025 of the Austrian Federal Railways, former world record locomotive in current operation condition, Epoch VI. The model features a red stripe on the face side of the locomotive for operations in Italy.



AC model with digitally switchable sound functions.

On the 2nd September 2006 the locomotive 1216 050, which was at that time still owned by Siemens (and was later registered as 1216 025 at the ÖBB), set the world record for conventional locomotives on the new line Nuremberg-Ingolstadt between Kinding and Allersberg. She reached in the first attempt 344 km / h and in the second 357 km / h.
