The Blokkendoos was built between 1923 and 1932 and it was delivered in ivory green livery. They were put into service in 1927 on the first electrified line in the Netherlands: Amsterdam - Harlem - Leiden - Den Haag - Rotterdam. On this line they operated as express trains with 5 wagons. The commuter trains Haarlem - Rotterdam in the sequence mBD-Cec-mC. The mC was supplemented in 1931 by a mCv 9400. The motor coaches initially had only one pantograph and got outfitted with an additional one in 1929. Model: the set is a true to the original copy of the commuter train Harlem - Rotterdam as it operated in 1931. At that time the trains were the embodiment of technical progress! The BD 9025 and the C 8531 were put into service in 1927. The C 9411 followed in 1928. They were painted in an all green livery in 1932/1933.
