Mit LED Beleuchtung, Antrieb auf 4 Achsen. 1 Achse mit Haftreifen. PluX22 Schnittstelle. Mit digital schaltbaren Soundfunktionen.

Die Re 4/4 II sind Universallokomotiven und kommen dementsprechend vor Reise- und Güterzügen zum Einsatz. Schwere Züge werden meist in Doppeltraktion zusammen mit einer Re 6/6 befördert.
