The Re 484 021 currently used at SBB Cargo Switzerland operates throughout Switzerland in all areas of goods transport. Whether hauling heavy long-distance freight trains between Limmattal and Buchs SG or even units almost 100 metres long, this locomotive type has become an integral part of daily operations. Re 484 021 also reminds us of the 125th anniversary of the Gotthard Line in 2007, celebrated throughout the year on the north and south sides of the line. 021 is also the last locomotive of its type to be delivered. The model is reproduced in the condition it was during its service under the flag of SBB Cargo International, primarily operating on the north-south corridor.
