Trainset #3 Eurocity 11 “Leonardo da Vinci” of the Deutsche Bundesbahn.
The set contains one dining coach type WRmz in red and beige livery and one 2nd class compartment car type Bm in ocean blue and beige livery.
■ Type Bm as an end car has an integrated red taillight on one side of the car
■ The dining coach is equipped with two generators
■ Each model has separately applied handles
■ The coaches can be used to build the EC 11 “Leonardo da Vinci” (timetable year 1990)
■ The set perfectly matches the sets 74133 and 74134.
In the 1990s, the vehicle fleet of the German Federal Railways became a colourful mix. The reason for this was that some of the wagons had already been repainted in the new company colours - while many of them still appeared in the old red-beige and ocean blue-beige livery. Colourful trains were characteristic for this epoch and could be seen from miles away. This was also the case with the prototype train of our EC 11 with the sonorous name "Leonardo da Vinci"( timetable year 1990). Not only business travelers loved it to take this train and used the practical connection but also, during the holidays, the train was extremely popular with tourists. In the morning the train departed in Dortmund and in the evening the travelers already enjoyed the Italian way of life.
