On the fully automated painting belt the all chassis get the laquer livery. In drying chamber ventilators facilitate a quick drying process. It takes up to 20 individual paint passes and up to 140 pressing processes to match the appearence of the model precisely to its original prototype.
Finally all the preassembled components, engines, toothed wheels, cable pieces cut to length, painted and printed chassis and all the other parts that make up a complete model locomotive are laid out for the finishing assembly. A locomotive can contain up to 300 components! The chassis gets it’s final touch with the manually applied plug-in parts.
Every locomotive is tested on our control set. The model is only sent on it’s journey after it has completed all of the required testing. The models are packed and shipped to customers all over the world.
