multiMAUS Firmware V1.02 and language update
For the majority of the multiMAUS users there is no reason to update their multiMAUS with this firmware. The version V1.00 that was delivered since the beginning of production runs properly and stabil. Just in case you wish to have another language package or problems occur in the following circumstances you should upgrade to the new version:
- To address the F13 and the F20 decoder functions (as long as your decoder supports those and they are not occupied yet).
- Your problem is to programm generic decoder models.
- You are operating more than 10 feedback modules 10787.
- During the programming in POM-mode with the LENZ control station the error message "ERR1" appears on the multiMAUS.
- Despite that there are no feedback contacts activated, blocks in the Rocomotion light up sporadically in pink (occupied).
If one of these points is affecting your operation we recommend the update V1.02.
NOTES:
- Your multiMAUS settings as well as the entry in the locomotive databank will still be available after the update.
- Under the menu of the multiMAUS you can find the current version (for example about the V 1-00): "Settings" - sub menu "Infos" - sub menu "Sofware".
- multiMAUS users who do not have a multiZentralEpro available can send it to the customer service department via the specialized dealers.

Manual for the multiMAUS - update
Needed are both the mulitZENTRALEpro 10830 and the desired MultiMausUpdate.EXE.
Connect the multiZENTRALEpro with an USB cable to the PC. Connect the multiMAUS that you want to update to the "feedback BUS"-port located on the back side of the multiZENTRALEpro.
Important information:
- Other components that are connected to the "RocoNet"-ports can stay connected, however they will not work as long as the update process is running.
- Do not start the ROCOMOTION software or the training programme or if so only in offline mode.
- Do not interrupt the update by unplugging the multiMAUS , the ROCOMOTION or other connected components. In case you did, the multiMAUS will display “Err 99”. You will have to start the update all over again and finish it to make the multiMAUS functional again.
By double clicking the "multiMAUS Update V1.02 /585 KB + language" the file will open.
The following window appears:

To update the firmware you have to set the first check mark.
Press "Start" and continue to follow the instructions on the screen.

The feedback port is marked as "feedback BUS".
The update starts.

Once the update is complete the following window will appear:

Don't forget to unplug the multiMOUSE from the feedback BUS and back into one of the RocoNet ports.
If an additional multiMOUSE is to be updated the process can be repeated after another multiMOUSE has been connected.
